    Valformosa, which means "beautiful valley" in Catalan, is a venerable producer that was founded in Catalonia in 1865 as a family-owned winery.
     We handle a wide range of high-quality grapes from our own vineyard 200ha and 400 contract farmers, from cava to still wine, and since we started making cava in 1938, we have been developing products tailored to domestic and overseas sales channels.
     With the motto "Always make good wine" and "Express our passion for wine", we practice the traditional teachings that have been handed down from time to time, strive to improve the fields every day, and put our soul into it. I am working on wine making.
     The grapes used are mainly cultivated in our own vineyards, and each varieties have different altitudes in the vineyards, and we are making cava that fully brings out the characteristics of the varieties.

    We manage all the processes from vineyards to brewing, bottling and sales in-house.

    Thorough quality control leads to improvement in taste and quality.

    The fields in a cool place with an altitude of 500 m or more have an inland climate.

    Unlike fields with a warm Mediterranean climate that are widely distributed by the sea, the acidity, concentration and aroma of the grapes increase.

    Some of the Parelladas use these high-altitude grapes.

    The grapes used are mainly cultivated in their own fields, and there are differences in the altitude of the grape fields for each variety.

    We are making cava that fully brings out the characteristics of the variety.
