BODEGAS CELAYA
  • BODEGAS CELAYA

A family-owned winery founded in 1927 in Albacete, La Mancha. The current head of the family, Luis Seraja Escribano, is the third generation. In 2000, a new brewing facility was built in the village of La Roda, equipped with state-of-the-art brewing technology. It is also located between Madrid and Alicante, and has a long history of agriculture in Spain, dating back to Roman times. The land is traditionally suitable for viticulture and it is possible to grow high quality grapes. The winery has been brewing and selling wine for local consumption for generations, making it one of the oldest wineries in the region. The most important thing in winemaking is "selection of raw grapes". Only the grapes that grow healthy in the vineyards are used as raw materials, so all the finished wines are of consistent quality. Most of the wines produced are DO Vino de la Tierra Castilla, which produces a large number of affordable and excellent table wines.
