DOMAINE DE SACY
  • DOMAINE DE SACY

The Loire region of France is famous for its beautiful scenery and the Loire river, which is represented as a French garden. Located in one of its easternmost areas, the Sancerre district is a historic vineyard located on a calcareous hill. The wines of the region have a history of being quoted by many poets since the time of the 11th century poet Philip Auguste. In the olden days, Pinot Noir was mainly planted, but after it was destroyed by Philoxera at the end of the 19th century, Sauvignon Blanc, especially adapted to the Sancerre area, was replanted. Carine Millet is the fourth generation head of the Domaine de Sassy. This young female brewer has taken over this domaine since 2016. The domaine's four-hectare vineyards are planted in clay-limestone soil. A passionate winemaker, Carine makes it possible to harvest ripe vines by enthusiastically caring for the vines every day, producing very high quality wines. We are good at expressing beautiful acids and produce crisp and elegant wines.
